RiverPointe Camping Trip

Oct 19-21, 2018 | Friday, October 19th - Sunday, October 21st at Huntsville State Park. Come for the day or for the weekend. Friday evening potluck at 7:00 pm. Saturday breakfast at 8:00 am and supper at 6:00 pm. Sunday breakfast at 8:00 am and a campsite service at 9:00 am. You are welcome to come for some or all of the activities. (Services at 700 Gladstell will remain the same for those not going to the campout.)

We have reserved one enclosed shelter that has AC and one screened shelter. These are available for those without tents or those who need to be in AC. We also have reserved some sites for tents or RVs. If you would like a campsite, contact Brother Heath before October 8th and let him know what your needs are (936) 235-5507 pastor@riverpointebaptist.org.

Campsite costs will be covered by the church, but there are admission fees to the park itself. For those aged 13-64, it is $5 per person per day. For those aged 65-87, the cost is $2.50. Disabled vets, children under 13 and those born before Sept 1, 1930 are free. Families who like to visit state parks may benefit from purchasing an annual state park pass for $70.

This should be a great time for fellowship, and there are a number of fun activities available. (Note: You can fish from the bank in a state park without a fishing license.) Below you will find a link to Huntsville State Park that will share some of the activities available there. Hope you can join us. Please register so we can make sure you know where meals and service will take place.
